Hi my name is Luke Castellan. I am an astronaut. Tomorrow I will go to space and install the Hubble Space Telescope created by Edwin Hubble. He created it so the telescope can see way further than normal telescopes. It can see galaxies and planets and stars and other things very far away. I can’t wait! It will launch tomorrow and install it right outside Earth’s atmosphere. I will be inside the Discovery rocket,(I have no idea why they called it like that) and go outside of Earth and install it.
Here in the space station in France, part of the ESA, are people who are just going bonkers. They are all as busy as bees. All setting everything for the Hubble, hopefully it wont get destroyed in the shuttle. But I think the shuttle will be destroyed after the Hubble will be set out of the atmosphere. Finally I get to experience what you feel in space. Maybe after I install the Hubble, I could go somewhere else like on the moon.
Just one more day. It sounds like not much but the time is slow. I wish I had fun. There is famous saying that most people know. It's time flies when you're having fun. It means that time goes fast when you are having fun. Right know I am super bored and not doing anything. So I'll just go home and enjoy a nice lunch.

The Launch of the Hubble
April 24, 1990
"Mister Castellan, your launch will be in a few hours. Please come to the space center in Paris at 11:00." A man said on the phone. Wow! I'm so excited! I'm going to send the Hubble! I'm now at home in Le Havre, near Paris, thirty minutes by train. Now I'm just watching TV, while dipping baguette in oil and enjoying myself. I should have a feast to my excitement. Not now, I have to leave. To the station and beyond! No, just kidding. The station is a five minute walk from my home. I left my home and went to the train station. I bought my ticket and went to the platform. All aboard! The conductor would say. I went on the train and waited the thirty minutes I had to wait. In the meanwhile I'll read the newspaper. "Luke Castellan is Going to Launch the Hubble Space Telescope!" The title said. I never knew I was famous. Thirty minutes has passed and I'm officially approach the space center. Get ready.
I'm inside the space station and waiting until I take off. As always, the space center is blue with rockets and buttons and other things. I love buttons. I approached the changing room to put on my suit with the help of my friend. I exited the changing room with my white suit with the helmet. It was really hot in there! In about five seconds I was sweating. I went nearer and nearer as the rocket got bigger and bigger. Maybe even bigger than three elephants. As big as ten elephants! I climbed inside the rocket and strapped myself in the most uncomfortable seats in the whole wide world. I was vertical, as vertical as a vertical line. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...LIFT OFF!!!
The rocket grumbled as it took off. I felt pushed up into the air. T
he Hubble in the top part of the rocket. All I knew was that I was inside the Discovery rocket and waiting until I get outside of the atmosphere with the Hubble inside. I couldn't wait until I pressed that red, rubbery button. It would set the Hubble out of the rocket and into space. The doors would open and the Hubble would be set outside. Then that sort of box around it would fall apart and the Hubble would be set free, taking pictures while orbiting the Earth. It has been five minutes I've waited and I am getting bored. I know what you are thinking, I get bored very easily.

Letting the Hubble float in the Middle of Nowhere
April 24, 1990 (again)
It's now been ten minutes I've been in space and I am really enjoying it. the view of Earth is fantastic! In ten minutes I will let the Hubble free and letting it take pictures of galaxies and planets far far away. I will now eat my (disgusting) lunch which I'm seriously not looking forward to. It's all dried fruit and heated meat. Why couldn't I just stay without lunch and not eat, just drink? Anyways, I got some magnetic marbles from home, which entertain me a lot. I've decided not to go to the moon. Just land back on Earth. I don't want to be that much of an astronaut and explore a lot in space. Just do these small missions like launching the Hubble. Two more minutes! I can't wait until I press that small rubbery red button. One more minute. I want it to be faster! Thirty seconds. Come on. Fifteen more seconds! Getting closer and closer! 10... 9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...WHAM!
What a feeling to smack that red rubbery round button! It was like letting all your bad feelings go away! The tip of the shuttle opened and the Hubble was in space orbiting the Earth and other things. I will be back on Earth and enjoying myself. Go back to my house and have a shower, eat normal food and playing with my cat. Oh, did I mention I have a cat called Dog? Yeah, I
make weird name for pets. Back to thinking about space. I'm now playing with my magnetic marbles attaching one by one making a chain. I played for a half an hour and enjoyed it. It was VERY fun. Now I'll do some space walking. Just walking in mid air. I attached the cord to my suit and opened the door. I stepped outside with my left foot.
I let go of the handlebars and went farther out of in space. It was very fun. I tried doing a flip but didn't succeed. I couldn't turn around or do anything like that. I felt relaxed even though I'm afraid of heights. In a few minutes I will go back in and go back to Earth. right now, I'm just lying down and almost falling asleep. I think I should go back to the shuttle. I stepped inside and guided it to the round blue and green ball.

I Send the Rocket into Flames
April 24, 1910 (again)
I was now lowering the shuttle into the Earth. To be honest with you, I really never knew how to land a rocket but I'll try to do my best. The blue and green Earth was getting nearer and nearer and nearer. I turned the rocket pointing to Kazakhstan usually where all rockets land instead of landing in South America. I can't believe I was in space for one hour and thirty minutes! I came closer to Earth thinking how to land. What if I will crash? What if I cannot land on Earth and be stuck in space forever? I shouldn't think negatively. Always think positive.
CRACK! What was that? I looked out of the window and saw that a wing almost fell off. CRACK! I heard it again. I looked out of the other window and saw that the other wing almost fell apart. I thought a small piece of rock crashed into it. Oh my god! How could I fly a rocket in this? I will obviously crash it! I got closer and saw the landing site. I will crash! I got the parachute and opened the shuttle door. I jumped outside and opened the parachute. I saw the rocket, on the landing site, full of flames.
I was on the ground at the space center. I told everybody the whole story and how I l
aunched the Hubble and how I did some space walking and also how I crashed the rocket. It was a fun and dangerous trip. I hope I do that again. Now really I was making a joke, I did know how to land the rocket. I just wanted to make the reader get a little bit of suspense. I'll go home, relax, take a shower and live normal life.
